Saturday 15 June

Taking Care of your pets at home
Want to learn how to take care of your pets at home? At this talk you can hear to an introduction to the benefits of veterinary physiotherapy for animals. You will learn how to do a simple massage practice on your pet as well as practical demonstration of a simple relaxing massage technique. This will be an interactive participatory talk where attendees can practice the learned technique on their pets. It is required that the animals be well-socialized and enjoy physical contact.

Yanica Yoga is dedicated to fostering communal well-being by integrating a range of practices that encourage mutual respect and empathy. Yanica’s fervor lies in motivating individuals through physical activity, mindfulness, and happiness. Since 2018, she has cultivated a community that revolves around these principles. Come participate in a variety of yoga styles, meditation, strength-building exercises, and other activities at VeganFest. Engage with kindred spirits, forge connections, and relish in all the complimentary offerings. Yanica is a qualified yoga instructor who acquired her teacher training in India specialising in Ashtanga Vinyasa. She is passionate about movement and how it can be utilised to ease off the tightness we feel within. She hopes to be able to inspire people to start including more movement in their daily routine, which will eventually lead to a more happy, fulfilled life.

Addressing our body and its ability to move is a big part of wellness and during this class a number of simple movements will be shared. This class is perfect for those with busy schedules who want to start the day feeling calm, energetic and focused to tackle the day at optimal performance. You will learn several techniques from Qi Gong and Eden Energy Medicine to help you self-regulate on demand and enjoy life with peace, joy and ease.

Nowadays, poi has evolved beyond its traditional roots and became popular worldwide as a form of flow art and performance.
